  1. Leading the way with stakemoney.u can criticize them for plenty of things but when a very average horse I have st Michel can earn 3400 for 2nd there is no reason not to have a horse.

  3. Sir Mark Todd , why don't he train racehorses full time anymore ? To get Eminent back like that , travel to other side of world first up in heavy ground , having to train on own at Canterbury Park that's impressive imho . At least Winx will have a fresh horse to beat in a few weeks.

    Large Debt, What to Do???

Rightly or wrongly horses are quiet regularly returned when its apparent they wont make a racehorse .Both parties are usually amicable about the situation . So this is an unusual situation .

Go Trumpy , a true champion , balls of steel , real courage , no charges against anyone , no collusion , nothing , zero , now let's see some revenge on some of the dem liars and cheats , lockem up . The dems must be in complete meltdown , liars , cheats with zero integrity , this whole scam will go down in history as one of the most unjust , illogical beat ups in USA history . The dems have bought shame on themselves .

  9. Hi Al, with your Quinella races the $5 each way is not included that is why I said in the rules for people to choose their Q races carefully. Each comp has a leveller to keep it competitive and also to control the time taken to update results between races. I could opt for just including win dividends and then all quinellas for the two selections but I think most prefer having two selections with three chances of getting some money back with the each way option. If I ever have 45 mins between each race to update results then I could do the two selections and Quin and W/P being live on each race. Hope that explains it

  12. Wasn't Mick G saying basically the same thing the other night . Good stakes give owners and trainers the confidence to keep horse running as opposed to selling them. Eventually the multiplier effect kicks in and Field sizes increase, Greg

  22. Haha , was on Shraaoh but have always liked Midterm , followed his UK career and backed it when nosed out Flemington in Spring at good odds.. 2 bucks the place Shraaoh so cost neutral nothing lost. Was a slog to post. I see another Ludlow hurdler won first Mornington. Mr Shuhood, the two that beat it in 6 runner maiden hurdle there in October are woeful horses beaten hundreds of lengths since so Waller picked him out well . He looks OK.

    Canterbury Starter

This is hardly surprising Greg. Mr Lamb sets the benchmark, as he is starter at Canterbury meetings and at Addington where the best horses are. Mr Lamb is not only a starter but a steward as well, so it is therefore not surprising that other starters around the country will emulate him.

    Canterbury Starter

He "lost his way" many years ago. Worst starter I have seen and he is not good enough to be starter at Addington the premier harness racing course in NZ. Unfortunately, Mr Lamb appears untouchable with no action from HRNZ over his too numerous to mention ballsups.

  33. And yet more push back , things are looking up , reality is putting fear into politicians , we have a long way to go but the wheels are starting to fall off . European Union leaders on Friday pushed back a decision on the bloc's long-term efforts to fight climate change, with some countries opposing a pledge to end most emissions of greenhouse gases by 2050. Leaders meeting in Brussels agreed to discuss the issue again at their next gathering in June, ahead of a UN summit on climate change in the fall. The delay frustrated environmental campaigners, who argue that the EU should lead global efforts to meet the 2015 Paris accord's most ambitious target of keeping global warming at 1.5 degrees Celsius by the end of the century. "European governments are kicking the can down the road on climate change," said Sebastian Mang, a policy adviser with Greenpeace.

  36. And of course China continues to make fools of most western politicians , the only realist is Trump . This report is justification for China to keep on doing what is does , make money and avoid committing financial suicide . Li and Zha of Nanjing Normal University, say the global hiatus has played a prominent role in their thinking and they see it reflected in China. Using satellite data they found a hiatus in China between 2001-15. They found warming in western and southern China and a 15-year cooling trend in northern China. For China as a whole they estimate that the warming rate is just -0.02°C per decade. The conclude that, “there is a regional warming hiatus, a pause or slowdown in China, and (it) implies that greenhouse gas induced warming is suppressed by other natural forcing in the early 21st century.” So China recons it has almost no global warming , it's the rest of the world who has problems that they mist deal with and of course keep funding the international climate fund , a fund the China can receive funds from . We with 5 million people must be close to handing over the 2nd BILLION anytime soon . Ausse is baulking at handing over a few hundred thousand from a population of 25million , how stupid are our leaders .

Memphis... the comp is supposed to be fun...we put these on for everyone, some like this format some like the other formats we use...but at the end of the day it costs nobody except myself and Chestnut anything, and its for the fun of everyone on the site...so lets just play if you want and enjoy the great days racing..I myself will be studying hard cant believe how bad my form has been recently..ashamed of myself....cheers.
