yes lamour you are right .the crosses with direct scooters work well so far as you say it is early days. however interesting to note one of best Rocknroll Dance's in Aus a G1 winner is out of a bettors mare.Other crosses with huge potential would appear to be Art Major/artiscape and Artsplace. It does not even seem to matter if western hanover figures prominantly in your mare (creating a triple cross to his dam Wendymae Hanover) or of course line breeding to no nukes. (eg Live Or Die) I know many people will now be "glazing over" but it is great to have such potential in many of our new stallions.(both imported and home grown)The little bettors delight mares with speed to burn would be great with the big strong ARD.

They are. Actually, renovating the existing stand and adding commentator/judges box etc., JCA and stipes rooms etc. Plans are still being consented. New plastic rail is also on the way. However, Foxton is currently designated by NZTR as a trial and training facility, so most of the investment is aimed at upgrading for that purpose. The gates are to avoid the something like 2-2.5k cost of hiring them for each trial meeting so they will pay for themselves quite quickly.
