Thank you to all our amazing families, friends and neighbours for your unconditional love, support and prayers. My darling hubby is recovering well, he is on rehabilitation and he is getting an amazing care from the hospital. Amazing doctors, nurses and everyone there to help him to recover. Next week he will have angiogram for his heart. He is getting Ipad, Wii soon, baking class and soon our laptop to keep him busy. Very thankful and grateful to God and everyone. I think you are getting a bit precious here Nerula. The original question was how much Fast Track has put back into NZ racing via this promotion. There has been the odd general comment about insurance companies (including from me) but David Archer or his brokerage has not been attacked. People just want to know that's all. And in particular I would like to know(and will never find out) if anyone involved in NZ Racing has had a benefit from the promotion(for instance anyone in the hierarchy). We get Fast Track shoved in our face every time we get on the NZTR website or turn on Trackside so I believe it is a legitimate question.

The last 3 races at Eagle Farm are directly replaced by the 3 Randwick races. Bbs will directly transfer to the corresponding race in Sydney. Bbs on Eagle Farm races 3 & 5 (comp races 5 & 7) will shift to Sydney race 7 (comp race 8A) if they are abandoned. Hope that helps cheers PJ

Well you seem to know all about it and have a connection with the bloke. If he provided you all this detail how come he didn't tell you the amount the scheme had contributed to the industry? I have insurance sub agencies as part of my business and would assume that the Fast Track arrangement works the same way. I get a percentage of the premium the person pays - they more they pay the higher the commission I get. There is no 'critical mass' involved it is a straight out percentage. I do not see how they can be stalling any payment to NZTR on the basis that the scheme has not taken enough premium yet. From where I sit it(critical mass) seems like an excuse to me. Having said that Gubellini seems to know the answer we are seeking. How are they making sure the benefits are being divided evenly and fairly around the country? Who decided Matamata deserved extra stakes?

Interesting question that only has one answer and that is to climb. I had been out of the game for a while but noticed the way horses are trained with some trainers has not changed much over the years. With the times being a good 10 - 15 seconds + better and the sectionals being much faster, training needs to change with the times. More emphisis has been put on what goes into the horse, than how they are trained. up up up only way to go!

It will interesting, both would a be deserving winner. Could we even have a dead heat? Danielle will be off in July to ride in Sweden so will miss a meeting. My preference would be for a Danielle Johnson win. In the last three seasons she has finished 5th, 2nd and 3rd and has not won the premiership previously. She hasn't chased the title by travelling all over the country and making it a priority, instead remaining in the North and riding against the countries best, taking it as it comes. It will be an interesting couple of months, the momentum is presently with Chris. Good luck to both.
