    Well done Eric

Emma gave Kingiesstar every chance. He just blew out the last bit. She did remarkably well to stay aboard after he jumped the last poorly. Posters should encourage Emma not bag her!

  3. TOTAL AFTER WEEK 4 = $1181.30 ($65.60 PER SHARE) well that was a very good week getting $525.80 oh so close to a larger collect but we are patient and our day will come. So now the wheels are turning lets keep them rolling with Sir G & Moosey to weave their magic next week. Hope everyone has a great week, this time next week we will hopefully know if we are having a boy or if I will be only a producer of girls ( for those who do not know I have 3 children so far and they are all girls!!!) Keep warm and safe.

  4. Two weeks ago we were rock bottom. Now we're off to play the Panthers in the presidents final! Awesome turnaround team. I always said things would change sooner or later. I just didn't think it would happen this late! Hats off to Maria & the Heat who were the real improvers of the comp. cheers R

    Well done Eric

She is far from scarred, horse just a bit new to it all, even with schooling around live fences it is all a bit different Raceday. He'll be back here in 12 months time and the experience this year for him will be a huge asset.

It's been 18 months of you basically talking to yourself about this horse..... we get it... you are involved with the family and like it. Move on to something else.

  14. There was also a very good phone call as to where John Allen would be having his Road Show that someone had heard about but didn't know any details of so clearly this has not been promoted and advertised in places where the wider community needs to learn about it. Why not? The caller made a very valid point about there not been a meeting in the Hawkes Bay region where one may reasonably expect them to have one. Maybe a few of you on here could pick up your phones and ensure those in areas without reasonable internet let those people know so they can try contact the said John Allen and ensure those regions also have a visit from him and have there say! Incidentally, does anyone know which rural region racetracks John Allen has attended Race club day meetings? Including that of where they have had Racedays taken away from them? We would be most interested to see this information publicly available.

  15. Yes I picked that up as well so basically prove your sick and need to speak with a human or suck it up and use touchtone. Another thing I got from that call is how rude Des came across at the end as the gentleman was talking about how they have no wrap up at the end of the day just go to another race meeting , Des didnt even acknowledge his statement he just said " Oh thanks it 10.30 will take more calls soon" does Des not like to have an opinion when it comes to Trackside?

    Proud to be a Southlander!!

Was good to see them show those north islanders that there is sum class in the deep south. Interesting that stokers rock had a trial in Canterbury and trained up there, anyone know how it ended up down south before it had its first race day start, has been super impressive in its 3 wins.

    Chiefs

You can't really say ' she deserves what she gets ', that's implying she doesn't have rights, and that's incorrect. What you can say is that she entered into a private arrangement, apparently outside of the control of her normal employer, for what appears to be a reduced fee, she foolishly went unaccompanied to the event, and then she accepted an arrangement whereby she agreed to let a player "lick" her bottom for an additional fifty dollars. Those elements combined suggest she is reckless in the extreme, and lacks good judgement. She's now claiming she was abused, humiliated, and short changed. That's not ideal, in fact it's unfortunate, but she predisposed herself to it and in fact seems to have encouraged or exacerbated it with the licking arrangement. I feel for this woman because the media will soon lose interest in the Chiefs role in this, but poor Scarlette will be judged harshly and humiliated forever, mainly because she agreed to the arrangements, and she routinely advertises services that are far more risqué. Meantime the Chiefs players who are current All Blacks will be distracted and off their game, and as for the bloke who wanted to lick the stripper's bottom, we don't seem to know who he is yet but you can guarantee he lives in Cambridge if he behaves like that. I suspect he'll have a future playing soccer, for Ponsonby, or in Parliament as a member of the Labour Party.

    Dyna Vikkers

Surely he had his best chance to bounce back tonight, had every chance in behind a sprinter and couldn't run him down. I hope they don't just keep racing him into the ground just for the sake of it, the injury he had has obviously taken its toll.

  37. Trying being in the public stand / lounge at Ellerslie when they are having "Irish Day" or one of the many other days that they have to "bring in the public". Notice I said the Public stand / lounge, not the members lounges. These "new" patrons are never sighted the following week but while they there usually half the place is roped off and rooms reserved. Give up trying to watch and listen to a race from another meeting! My TV at home gets BOTH racing channels and the volume is just about right... yes no wonder people don't go on course anymore.
