  1. Personally i think that is good money as ex race horses dont seem to go for much these days and most the time given away for free or a few hundred bucks so to me $1200 on a ex race horse is good money.. PERSONALLY im not saying that is true thats just what i think anyways as i have sold/rehomed alot for trainers and so i do know they are hard to get money for sometimes in this economy.. But hey thanks for your imput =)

  2. The Telegraph... A top performance from the topweight. Final Touch is a much classier galloper than I had previously thought. Rumpole...another top ride from your man. Mr Johnson was, as always, humble in victory...an admirable quality shared by the Parsons team. A top training performance on their part, especially so given the variety of distances their mare has competed over of late. Congratulations must also go to the Christchurch-based scribe, who posts on this Forum as "Dizzy", for his perspicacity. Very well done indeed. The continued riding excellence that is Chris Johnson always serves to remind me that the racing industry has a heart. The racing industry as a whole (and on the whole) has looked after Mr Johnson and he has repeatedly repaid the industry's investment. A Group One winning rider with a very recent Grand National Hurdles win (aboard Kid Columbus) to his credit...not your everyday occurrence. Cheers. Ashoka

  3. He still ran well - and 3rd in a G1 Sprint over 1200m won't do his prospects any harm at all. He'll get his G1 sooner or later. I think he's a G3 track horse to really show his best.

  9. Agree about Burgundy. He had his chance in the railway but just not a G1 horse. Xanadu's runs in the Mudgway and Windsor Park were excellent and the Telegraph is supposed to suit 1400/1600 form. Guiseppina looks a safe bet this year. No reason to say she can't do it again in an (arguably) less performed field than last year.
