#2 late scratched. Subs were #5 then #12
Peter RS the only entrant on the roughie to give Imperatriz a nice little boost. Veandercross lead but have used two best bets to Bonecrusher's none.
Cheers SNM. It looks like a day when sadly some of us might lose both runners in a race somewhere. Let's hope late scratchings don't influence the final result in either Grand Final today. But as the old saying goes.....it is what it is.
Late scratchings; So if we lose one selection it goes onto the fave?
If we already have the fave we go onto the second fave?
And if we lose both selections we go onto the fave and the second fave?

Shame about the track at Randwick for grand final day. Our first late scratching in that one. #9 replaced by #3 (the winner) or #4 the second favourite.
Even start in both matches.
Chris,just in case you forgot.....
It was never a wet issue it was the track without rain was too hard and horses have been injured and many jarred up on previous days. This is exactly what it was meant to do but they need to fix the hardness on non wet days as the water was going through way to fast from what I was told. Good to see it doing what its meant to in the wet...50% of the job done, now lets hope the hardness issue is fixed too.We need it to be the best, not a white elephant and I really hope they can sort it out to be good on all occasions .
Its doing what its designed to do but it has been the hardness thats been the issue to date previously...not its ability to handle rain...it was running straight through it too quickly before...but hey its good its doing well today...horses dont normally pull up sore and jarred up on rain affected tracks.
Hey Rusty,
Funny you mention that. I'm sure #48 would have taken inspiriation from the NZ Pardon My Dust. He is an ex-Kiwi, now Aussie resident, living a fair way north from you. Back in the day as young lads we would frequent most meetings at the Park and quite a few Cambridge meetings too.
Even better that you mentioned Jenner, as that was his favourite trotter for sure!
I hadn't noticed the pairing today until you posted. A Queensland v Queensland matchup , should be a great contest 🙂 Good luck.
Cheers,
Phil
