The RIU have not been proactive - which everyone thought was going to happen with the restructure - to investigate some sensible thresholds to be considered and implemented. We have a ridiculous nil/low caffeine count which is far far lower than an Olympic athletic (horse mass versus human) , meths/p ridiculous - even healthy homes have reviewed when a house needs a deep clean etc, cobalt continual saga and many others. The rules of racing give no chance of justice to an innocent party . You are innocent , and RIU agree , but you loose the stake and follow up hearing the trainer will be fined or disqualified . Even a stipe has a record of jailing someone for murder who was latterly cleared and paid a large compensation sum. The shit show, which has created the disrespect and divide, is all RIU doing. There was no race fixing - it should of been closed off as no case to answer after 2 months and the Police should of stopped listening to the personal crusade the RIU was running. This is a shocking rule/threshold and needs to be in line with international sport limits. Last week totally innocent trainer looses $15k stake and $2 k fine but you are suggesting strike 1 suspension and next positive out for life. The caffeine rule needs amendment immediately before you start throwing around life penalties .
