  1. Dunns have a-lot of homebred in the barn and to have 700 starters with a udr of .2500 is impressive. Next trainer on starters is House at 564 but a udr of only.1760. Their imput into the sport is huge and should be thanked not questioned re skill level.
  2. And maybe he is sick of the vindictive RIB who have harassed his stable including police raids for zero result except damaged the sport near none repair.
  3. It was an Employee of HRNZ who canned the races and hung up on Williamson & Branch when they questioned him. The handicapper is a Lone Ranger who seems to have incredible power !
  4. Maybe people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones - shall we list them ?
  5. Inca has been nearly six years since start , say $12 + million spent, police surveillance , wire tapping , full police effort and no fixing found . We have stable pre racing visits and blood take - Thursday unannounced - on day pre race testing and use numerous laboratories including international . The only fault in the discipline is the very inconsistent behaviour of the stipes. The vitriol on people like you are killing the sport
  6. Basil How can a special treatment driver charged with the same offence but not actioned at Kaikoura have his hearing on Friday and so drives cup day . He had time in his driving program to have on day hearing but he is part of the protected family who can do no wrong in the stipes eyes. You are a bitter person Basil with no empathy , justice in body and like a gruppy old atheist . This may see, at last, the structure of the RIB changed for the good and the dead body mover maybe restructured
  7. Likely breeding - by shit out of shit
  8. Then why not transfer to AWT Wednesday and again open up nominations
  9. The RIU have not been proactive - which everyone thought was going to happen with the restructure - to investigate some sensible thresholds to be considered and implemented. We have a ridiculous nil/low caffeine count which is far far lower than an Olympic athletic (horse mass versus human) , meths/p ridiculous - even healthy homes have reviewed when a house needs a deep clean etc, cobalt continual saga and many others. Surely sensible people with balance in their life can sit around a table and set some logical levels - they did it for bi-carb and even increased Harness level as at one silly stage thoroughbred had a permitted higher reading than harness . Last two positives have been a caffeine positive in galloper as trainer pissed in the same spot after 3 cups of coffee a day so seepage under wall to bedding - agreed as cause by RIU - but lost race and $6k fine then this admitted not trainers fault P case. Makes RIU look a vindictive group who are doing the sport a lot of harm. They should report the amount found , advise its spread with Olympic rules and then review all levels as this is damaged the sport and their reputation .
  10. The rules of racing give no chance of justice to an innocent party . You are innocent , and RIU agree , but you loose the stake and follow up hearing the trainer will be fined or disqualified . If we were in the highest court in NZ you would never be charged - it is just not fair . Non Raceday Request for a Ruling – Written Decision dated 15 July 2022 – FLIP ‘N’ EASY ID: RIB9994 Respondent(s): Murray Thompson - Trainer Applicant: Racing Integrity Board Adjudicators: Hon J W Gendall QC Information Number: A18503 Decision Type: Request for Ruling Rule(s): 918(1) Request for Ruling: Request for a Ruling in that "FLIP 'N' EASY" be disqualifed Stewards Report Results Animal Name: FLIP 'N' EASY Code: Thoroughbred Race Date: 28/05/2022 Race Club: Auckland Thoroughbred Racing Race Location: Pukekohe Park - 222/250 Manukau Road, Pukekohe Hill, Pukekohe, 2120 Race Number: R1 Hearing Date: 14/07/2022 Hearing Location: On the papers Outcome: Determination Penalty: Disqualification of FLIP 'N' EASY RULING OF ADJUDICATIVE COMMITTEE PURSUANT TO RULE 918(1) RULES OF NZ THOROUGHBRED RACING 1. The Applicant has sought a Ruling pursuant to Rule 918(1) in relation to the outcome of Race 1, “The HR Fisken & Sons Ltd 1200m” at the Auckland Thoroughbred Racing at Pukekohe on 28 May 2022. 2. The horse “FLIP ‘N’ EASY” , part owned and trained by Mr M Thompson (who holds a Class B permit to train licence) finished first, with the Judge’s placings being: First: FLIP ‘N’ EASY Second: MODERNISE Third: GIMME, ALL YOUR LOVIN Fourth: SERENA’S SPIRIT Fifth: MADIRAN Sixth: EXCLUSIVE FIGHTER 3. FLIP ‘N’ EASY was correctly swabbed post race and on later analysis at the New Zealand Laboratory, the urine sample was found to be positive to the drugs Methamphetamine and Amphetamine. Methamphetamine is a Class A Controlled Drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975 and a Prohibited Substance under the NZ Rules of Racing. 4. When interviewed Mr Thompson was unable to explain how the positive sample may have arisen. Subsequent investigations ascertained that the stable area in which the horse had been stabled at Mr Thompson’s property was extensively contaminated with Methamphetamine which was attributed to previous tenants of that property. 5. Under Rule 804(1) it is mandatory that a horse that competes in a race with a Prohibited Substance in its metabolism (system) be disqualified. Mr Thompson as Trainer, part owner, and Racing Manager has formally consented to such disqualification. 6. Accordingly “FLIP ‘N’ EASY” is disqualified from its placing in the race in question and the revised placings (with stakes to be paid accordingly) are: First: MODERNISE Second: GIMME, ALL YOUR LOVIN Third: SERENA’S SPIRIT Fourth: MADIRAN Fifth: EXCLUSIVE FIGHTER Dated 14 July 2022 Hon J W Gendall QC Decision Date: 14/07/2022 Publish Date: 15/07/2022 Note : “Subsequent investigations ascertained that the stable area in which the horse had been stabled at Mr Thompson’s property was extensively contaminated with Methamphetamine which was attributed to previous tenants of that property.”
  11. Stewards penalties are way out of context - none of them succeeded in the game but now ruling heavily on a minor error of judgement .
  12. “Inca had been more effective…” - Are you implying the RIU & Police should of won charges which defendants were were not guilty of and to continue the standard Police record of charging the wrong person which has happened for years . Even a stipe has a record of jailing someone for murder who was latterly cleared and paid a large compensation sum. The shit show, which has created the disrespect and divide, is all RIU doing. There was no race fixing - it should of been closed off as no case to answer after 2 months and the Police should of stopped listening to the personal crusade the RIU was running. RIU are similar to Putin - arrogantly aggressively walk in and they will roll over. It didn’t go to plan as why should innocent people rollover when no crime committed - and still more like Putin RIU will not accept public opinion is against them and the facts don’t add up to fixing plus the Police really don’t think it is a “serious crime issue” . However, their arrogance knows no bounds so they push push the prosecutor to keep pushing for no result on the warrants granted for the wire tapping etc. All respect for RIU gone at a cost of $15 + mill If RIU was so certain why didn’t they do their job and complete the investigation - no need to bring in the Police as it just confirmed they are not up for the job.
  13. What about the nil caffeine in system rule - versus athletics / Olympics which by memory have a 100 max - which can be caused by pissing at the back of your boxes after having a couple of a cups of coffee. This is a shocking rule/threshold and needs to be in line with international sport limits. Last week totally innocent trainer looses $15k stake and $2 k fine but you are suggesting strike 1 suspension and next positive out for life. The caffeine rule needs amendment immediately before you start throwing around life penalties .
