Complaints

If you have a complaint about any aspect of this site, please contact us immediately. We take all legitimate complaints seriously. However you must understand the following points:

If you think we are too strict...
Please don't complain - we will not be relaxing our rules. Instead you should simply leave and find a more open forum (or start your own).

If you think we are not strict enough...
Please don't ask us to "tighten up". We are already very strict - more so than is required by any relevant governing body or law. We believe we are tough enough.

If you think we are inconsistent...
Well, you may be right. We go to extraordinay lengths to apply the same rules to everyone (see the guidelines on the right), but given the nature of these discussions it's inevitable that there will be occasional inconsistencies. In addition, there will soon be a group of moderators keeping an eye on the forums. Whilst we all use the same guidelines, there is always some margin for interpretation.

We think our operating policy is appropriate...
and so do 90% of our users. Please don't tell us that people would enjoy our site more if we tighten/relax our rules, or tell us that we are on shaky legal ground, etc. We put a lot of effort into analysing legal advice, market reseach and feedback. We think we have a good handle on the situation!

If you have a specific complaint about this website or a particular message...
Fill out the complaint form - and please please please follow the instructions!
