Registration is free and confidential. Although you don't need to register to use this site, there are some things you can't do unless you're registered.

In order to register you must tell us your real name and allow us to verify your identity. No-one else is involved in this -- your personal details are kept in the strictest confidence unless you specify otherwise. You are free to retain full anonymity throughout our website if you so desire.

However we reserve the right to divulge your personal information in the event of a court order or legitimate complaint against you regarding any breach of our rules. If you are happy to abide by our rules this won't concern you. If you don't bother to read the rules and do something which lands you in trouble, please don't bother complaining to us - you were warned.

When you register you reserve an exclusive username which you can use to:

• Post messages in the discussion forums
• Create a personal profile page
• Enter the punting competition

You'll also enjoy these benefits:

• Your username is password-protected so no-one else can pretend to be you.
• When you post messages in the forums, your username will appear with a "Validated" icon like this:   This indicates to other users that you are a "real" person and gives you more credibility. Click here for more information.
• Your messages will not have to wait for moderator approval before appearing in the forums (unless of course you've got yourself onto the moderation list).
