On to next week! Thanks John and team Lay Down Mizere. You guys are a top team and there'll be a lot of wins ahead for you in the coming weeks. This was a close match today that see-sawed back and forth. Fortunately for us Double AAs lady luck went our way the final two or three Aussie races, and we managed to come away with a much-needed win. Good team effort today Double AAs with special mention of Tom and Wrinkles with top wins in their individual matchups. Great stuff, fellas. I think we're starting to hit our straps now, and we can look forward to making our way steadily up the leaderboard in coming weeks. The team we had earmarked from Week 1 as our Joker play has done particularly well the past fortnight ...so it could be that a rethink is in order. Yes na...we'll go with the original plan. Watch this space....no, not the one between my ears. Thanks for the scoring and updates today, PJ. Much appreciated .....even more so when we win. Their final collects came from Hesi (BB), Kloppite (quinella) and Geoff. The Dark Horses were the form side of the day and finished in style with all 5 on the winning fave in the last while Sarah added a BB quinella although she was just headed by Rosina (who unluckily faced Cubes) for MVP honours. Heather and Pam added their 4th winners of the day for the Royles in the last also. Final Betza collects came from Robert (with a BB quinella), PJ and Dave who was just edged for MVP honours by Captain Betty. N1MUE 1,877 Report post Posted February 19, 2018 Using your system: Royle family will save their joker until the final round (against LDM) Five No Trumps may have a good matchup this week under your system, but I'm picking that, despite Ian's comments, he won't use their joker versus AA. He will save it for Round 6 vs Dark Horses (even with their 2770 rating). Ad Augusta will likewise save theirs for the Dark Horses. Looks like Dark Horses will play theirs against LDM and this will be the only joker play in Round 5 and will continue the current trend - 3 joker plays, 3 losses. globederby12
