Yir Tiz 223 Report post Posted November 30, 2017 Perhaps after a weekend on the punt and collection of winnings you may want to donate to this one?? Crowdfunding campaign hopes to buy Rosie the horse | Stuff.co.nz Just a thought , as to firstly find a horse that would be a candidate and then the time required to train them......6k seems like a bargain. If you have ever seen these animals in action especially with the kids money can not buy that joy!!!!. Belinda 143 Report post Posted December 4, 2017 Good idea but the horse is probably over priced but then you can't put a price on safety I guess
Yir Tiz 223 Report post Posted December 5, 2017 Cheers Hizzy they only need 194 more pledges/deposits now I think and it appears to only be through FB and not give-a-little although I may be wrong on that.
hizzy 52 Report post Posted December 5, 2017 Paid into day 100 for a good cause. I figured seeing as I was not having a good run on the punt may as well go to a good cause. Insider and Black Kirrama

Yir Tiz 223 Report post Posted December 6, 2017 WOW the power of group funding!!, really good to see and I see a few old south island racing surnames involved with the contributions to this cause as well.
Gruff 2,790 Report post Posted December 6, 2017 looks a worthy cause even if Rosie's owners are asking a little extra

The people that work tirelessly and volunteer for these organisations are absolute gems in my book!!!!, I have seen firsthand the joy this form of therapy generates...so when they ask for help I'm always happy to assist.
