16 selected the final winner today with BBs for Sir G, Steve P, Rob and Jen while the quinella was struck by Jill, Betty and Casper while Robert, Porky, Howie and his opponent Tony all nailed the BB quinella. Steve Paul's BB was not enough to get him up to take the honours at Otaki so Betty (whose score needed adjustment after I left out a BB) won the day with a fast-finishing Howie who retained the Shield and faces Steve P at Ellerslie tomorrow, taking the 15 points for 3rd. Skelly started the last in front but ended up 8th - they come at you think and fast at the business end ! See  you all tomorrow in the City of Sails. Totals later.
