Mattski 165 Report post Posted September 13, 2017 I wonder if they're concerned about Awapuni being abandoned after the number of meets we've lost this year!
Blind Squirrel 315 Report post Posted September 13, 2017 Am I missing something here or did you not realise it is a turbo Pick 6 across both meetings? Diver Dan

Blind Squirrel 315 Report post Posted September 14, 2017 It's been on their site since Monday - click on the Jackpots link and it shows what is coming up during the next 7-10 days. When a meeting has been abandoned in the past that was part of a turbo or cross meeting Pick 6 the whole Pick Six has been shifted to the remaining meeting/meetings - logic would dictate the same thing will happen again if Awapuni is abandoned. A bonus for Ruakaka one would think as little else to get enthused about with the size and depth of their fields.

Surely they would be wanting another jackpot possibility into Hawkes Bay next week ??
Mattski 165 Report post Posted September 14, 2017 More impt can someone tip us into a winner or 2 in the Pick 6? Prom Queen looks an anchor up north. Is the Meric Mile (1550) between Dolcetto and Franceletta? Thanks, Matt

Francaletta looks very special, although a really heavy track might make me slightly cautious, and has been beaten 2 heavy trials (though need to watch them before put any great weight on that factor). Has beaten Dolcetto twice of course. Interesting. Other Ruakaka legs might be including front runners even at odds. Wide other two Awapuni legs (which might be able to do if build it around anchor and two only in two legs)
Blind Squirrel 315 Report post Posted September 14, 2017 I guess Prom Queen does look a decent anchor but I'm prepared to add the two Pike horses in - the win of Aim Smart on debut was simply sensational and that form stacked up well after vwhat Summer Passage did! Pikey could win the 4th leg with Fast And Furious if it produces what it did on debut as well
