Dtab surely you must know that among the many deficiencies the local TAB have is intransigence or put another way " they used to be uncertain but now they are not so sure"

Are you lot blind....?

With a substantial carry-forward of $239,985.15, Saturday's Pick6 is guaranteed to reach a massive $500,000!

The $500,000 Guaranteed Pick6 will be turbo charged which means it will run across the last three races at each of Saturday's domestic thoroughbred meetings, Awapuni and Ruakaka. The first leg kicks off on Awapuni Race 6 at 3:15pm with the final leg set down for 4:43pm at Ruakaka.

Races included in Saturday's $500,000 Guaranteed Turbo Pick6:
Leg 1 at 3:15pm: Awapuni, Race 6
Leg 2 at 3:34pm: Ruakaka, Race 6
Leg 3 at 3:29pm: Awapuni, Race 7
Leg 4 at 4:09pm: Ruakaka, Race 7
Leg 5 at 4:05pm: Awapuni, Race 8
Leg 6 at 4:43pm: Ruakaka, Race 8

Betting on Saturday's $500,000 Guaranteed Turbo Pick6 will be available from 8:30am Saturday morning.

It's been on their site since Monday - click on the Jackpots link and it shows what is coming up during the next 7-10 days.

When a meeting has been abandoned in the past that was part of a turbo or cross meeting Pick 6 the whole Pick Six has been shifted to the remaining meeting/meetings - logic would dictate the same thing will happen again if Awapuni is abandoned.

A bonus for Ruakaka one would think as little else to get enthused about with the size and depth of their fields.

and the fact it's a rubbish track.....

plus the way they have scheduled the races at Ruakaka means the first leg there is a 70% chance (substitute your own %) of being an anchor. Surely they would be wanting another jackpot possibility into Hawkes Bay next week ??

More impt can someone tip us into a winner or 2 in the Pick 6?  Prom Queen looks an anchor up north. Is the Meric Mile (1550) between Dolcetto and Franceletta?

Thanks, Matt

Hard to argue with the ones you have selected there Mattski.

Francaletta looks very special, although a really heavy track might make me slightly cautious, and has been beaten 2 heavy trials (though need to watch them before put any great weight on that factor). Has beaten Dolcetto twice of course. Interesting.

Other Ruakaka legs might be including front runners even at odds. Wide other two Awapuni legs (which might be able to do if build it around anchor and two only in two legs)

I guess Prom Queen does look a decent anchor but I'm prepared to add the two Pike horses in - the win of Aim Smart on debut was simply sensational and that form stacked up well after vwhat Summer Passage did!

Pikey could win the 4th leg with Fast And Furious if it produces what it did on debut as well
