eljay 1,711 Report post Posted September 6, 2017 Sky look to being put under pressure for NZ Sports Broadcasting. But is it their own (dare I say it) greedy roughshod handling of the product in the past. Monopoly. Squeezing the small man out through their resources. Surely the TAB is a glowing example of this. Rising costs with shrinking advantages/benefits. One could go on. And when you look at it, Sky have made themselves a cosy nest that others now cannot compete with. Until - along comes Amazon. Knees are knocking, butt cheeks are clenched. Will Amazon however pose a threat after the dust settles? Who wants to watch test matches of any codes peering into a PC screen anyway? And what will it cost the consumer to avail themselves of this new service? Advertising etc.
