Gary Sharp 224 Report post Posted August 14, 2017 Alex (Magic Fancy), a 6 year old greyhound was diagnosed with bone cancer. Because the cancer was detected early, it was decided that the affected limb should be amputated which will extend his life expectancy. Alex's medical bills have been huge and Zinnia, his human needs our help. Please donate. Every little bit will make a massive difference. Thank you in advance All donations will go towards covering Alex's growing medical costs. The family has been told that it will cost $800-$1000 per day due to his ICU level care. The do have insurance for him but it has exceeded the limit that the company will pay out. If any one would like to help out you can make a donation on the give-a-little page. https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/alexthegreyhound?_ga=2.77588310.2144383780.1502525989-385015772.1498194164

I know they probably deeply love the dog and all that, but at the end of the day the dog should be put to sleep, rather than subjecting it to further pain. And spending that much money on amputating limbs is not my idea of animal welfare.
