barryb 2,064 Report post Posted August 6, 2017 An Aussie mate who came with me to a few meetings here at the beginning of July said there was more people at Wanganui on a Thursday last month than at Sandown today. He just bought a stubbie for $8.50 & a thimble of cardboard Red for $7.50. he said its frightening what they are asking for food pricing & $10 entry. On Course challenges not confined to NZ. barryb 2,064 Report post Posted August 6, 2017 Oh dear, was the Hurdles race a farce or what? How pathetic are the jumps, woefully small and many of them fallen down. They are living a short life over there thats for sure.
Huey 2,037 Report post Posted August 6, 2017 Agree, some fairly decent racing on show and great to see Lankan Rupee back racing competitively. A lot can happen up that Sandown straight.
