Need help Hesi. Here are some of the things she has done:

Taken a summer holiday in Aussie

Attended Rhythm & Vines

Got pregnant

Pose For Vogue and Australian Women's Weekly

Attend neo maternity appointments

Shop for maternity clothes

House hunt and purchase a 1.8 million house (she now has two properties totaling 3 million after saying 6 years ago she couldn't afford a house in unaffordable Auckland)

All followed and documented by the media.

So that is her achievements as a pregnant unmarried woman with a penchant for property acquisition and photo shoots however I believe Chevy is asking you to list the achievements of Ardern's role as Prime Minister.

Bloke is right, you need a holiday you bitter old fart

Well that is what I was talking about, transforming Labour into a position of being in the race, in 6 weeks

Transforming? Purely in the sense that the media swooned on somebody who is moderately attractive and had a fanny, following on from a Labour  procession of shrivelled scrotes.

It was only a couple of years ago the press were pollishing Key's balls, He was their hero.

Now Jacinda is their darling and  Key, English, Nathan Clown, Crusher, Joyce and Co are history. It could be argued that with the exception of Key, Jacinda sent them packing. She was also helped by the stupidity of the Tories by ganging up on Winston and failing.

Ted my youngest daughter went to Uni in Christchurch and she flatted with two dairy farmers daughters. Their parents ran  incomes through family trusts so that they earned under the threshold allowing the daughters to claim at the time $180 per week.  No doubt this is not the only one benefit they claimed from the governement by fudging their incomes. No doubt also like you Ted they were Tories. Tories are like most they like something for nothing.

There are income attribution rules in place to stop that kind of thing.

So where is your open transparent Government Hesi????

This morning Mike Hosking reveals that he couldn't get either Jacinda nor Acting Prime Minister Kelvin Davis  to front on radio. According to the flunkies Ardern would only come on to talk about the Pacific Tour, nothing else. According to Hoskings that was discussed on yesterday's show.

So we have Ardern quite happy to do photo shoots for Vogue and Woman Weeklies or any other glossy magazine but when it comes to important things she is dodging the hard interviews or attempting to control the narrative and only appearing if they talk about things that she only wants to talk about.

Davis who is acting Prime Minister won't come on because he doesn't know anything about the Foreign Housing Ban, The Tax Working Group, Trump's Tariffs or anything about Pay Equity  as according to the flunkies he hasn't been briefed on them. FFS he is currently running the country and can't answer questions on any of the above. Unbelievable!!

Talk about ducking for cover and why won't they release the Martin Jenkins Report? Because it would show just how well the Partnership Schools that they are wanting closed down are doing compared to the state schools and we still haven't seen the release of the coalition agreement either. Open and transparent...yeah nah!!

Oh and Hesi, I won't even mention that Twyford is over 3600 behind in his Kiwibuild affordable homes and gosh all those trees that haven't been planted. Oh' I just did. :D

From what I can see Ardern is dodging anything difficult and looking to do all the soft things until she pops off to have the baby when the glossy magazines etc will load up again.

It's not the truth, it is just someone's opinion.

The reality is, Labour is in power, Jacinda Ardern is PM, and you right whingers just keep regurgitating any media article or person that suits your argument, it's not going to change anything

If your wonderful Nats had truly brought so many people prosperity through such a buoyant economy, then they would have easily got 50% plus of the vote, not 44.40%, and not had to rely on the vagaries of MMP and a very unpredictable Winston Peters.

How things change, 7 months ago the Nats were cruising, Labour was a train wreck.  Now it is the Nats that are the train wreck, the next poll results must be being dreaded by the Nats.

I like Bridges, but he has a long way to go to prove himself, and he won't have to do it in the pressure cooker environment, that Ardern found herself in, in the 6 weeks leading up to the election.

A bit of credit for what she has achieved.  I'm actually a long time Nats supporter(not this election), and I am happy to give credit where credit is due.

Yes the $2.44B surplus for the last 7 months, ahead of forecast and up from $1.15B last year must be hard for them to take.

Nats a train wreck...?? Don't think so Hesi..... just regrouping and will come back stronger.

I'm still waiting for Ardern to actually do something - apart from photo ops, magazine covers, interviews with soft (TV3 Project) media, buying houses and letting everyone know.....FFS....she is like a pubescent teenager going off to College with the big kids......

As I said in my post Dave, if they were doing so well, why did not more vote for them, so they did not have to rely on a coalition partner

Simple answer is that more people wanted a hand out as opposed to a hand up.

Really? well in their last budget National had all sorts of give a ways which were not going to come into force until this year, after the election

Crusty, The Tories oppossed Kiwisaver which is all about a hand up for the individual. Simply they do not practice what they preach, as  they would sooner have their Socialist scheme called National Super.

The KiwiSaver scheme was one of the promises on Prime Minister Helen Clark's controversial 2005 pledge card as part of the Labour Party's promises for that election. In 2008 John Key, then Leader of the Opposition, stated that a National led government would mean "there won't be radical changes...there will be some modest changes to KiwiSaver".[19] KiwiSaver therefore has broad political support, being supported by both the National and Labour parties

The main reason was the third term Hesi. For some stupid reason NZ'rs decide then its time for change no matter how well we are doing. Hard to fathom given recent results, but there is no doubt the Nats could have done better for more, and paid the price when the new Messiah came along....inexperienced unachiever but photogenic......social media triumphs over substance....

Well we'll see how Bridges does, more wheels though about to fall off the Nat wagon with more senior Nats going.

If these guys(and gals), are not up to it, then the bear pit that is our political system very quickly finds them out.

Do you seriously think if Ardern was just an inexperienced, photogenic unachiever, she would have made it this far
