Ohokaman 5,760 Report post Posted July 31, 2017 Very sad news to hear the pocket rocket has died at 21. Remember him well in the late 90's winning Derbies in a row...saw him many times at Alex Park. Having him and Christian Cullen on the programme was a marketers dream. RIP fella. https://www.racenet.com.au/news/136167/Courage-Under-Fire-dies-aged-21#CommentsView Iraklis and Taku Umanga
Jape 344 Report post Posted August 1, 2017 He was an excitement machine as he took on all the best 2 and 3 year-olds and simply kept on winning and winning ... 24 in a row. Remarkable. Very well named. Iraklis

Raced on the same card three times all at Addington and met once in the 2000 Victoria Cup with Cullen 3rd and Courage 5th

Not to cast aspersions on him though he was a very good horse and has been a most successful sire. Sad to see his demise and will be long remembered.
