N1MUE 1,877 Report post Posted July 31, 2017 cheers vS - checked result on website but overlooked scratching. TC can sort this out but looks like it doesn't change any outcomes - four people had the scratched horse - Jen and yourself both won anyway and Richie & Punter Pete remain tied
The Crucible 632 Report post Posted July 31, 2017 Round 1 - Final results: Bit of an unsettled round but we got there in the end - thanks for your tolerance. 75% of matches were won by the lower seeded player. Geoff top scored with an impressive $705.40 with 5 wins and 3 quinellas from 7 races (including two best bet quinellas) - wouldn't want to be playing him in the next round Ohokaman (1) $176.00 Steve P (32) $215.80 Al Feilding (2) $179.00 Jenlove (31) $225.00 Ian (3) $76.60 Geoff (30) $705.40 Sarah (4) $215.00 Brian (29) $117.00 Sir C (5) $0.00 VS (28) $112.60 Koriokaramea (6) $167.80 Rees (27) $80.00 Peter J (7) $103.00 John (26) $207.00 Punter Pete (8) $141.80 Richie (25)** $141.80 Howie (9) $57.00 Sylvia (24) $140.00 Cubes (10) $121.80 Gordy (33) $206.00 Casper (11) $126.00 Scarecrow (22) $57.00 Luca (12) $57.00 Betty (21) $94.00 Sharne (13) $141.80 MrZim (20) $345.00 Rosina (14) $0.00 Ponderosa (19) $261.00 TC (15) $355.00 Viceroy (18) $252.00 FWTB (16) $23.00 Double R (17) $104.

Ohokaman 5,841 Report post Posted July 31, 2017 31 minutes ago, hesi said: Yep Some of us had the correct strategy, just the execution was a bit off the mark. Am I correct in saying TC, that 2 people who are adjacent on the listings, cannot play each other, other than in the final, therefore Gordy could only play Steve P in the final If that Dr Watson had stuck his neck out a bit further it would have been different tho Hesi...that's racing..... I think Steve P could meet Jenlove in the semi if Gordy keeps winning. Another interesting observation - all four Reds who entered are still alive after round 1 - won't be able to say the same thing after round 2.
