The Crucible 632 Report post Posted July 22, 2017 Please note if any of your New Plymouth selections are scratched tomorrow you are welcome to post replacement picks prior to the start of Race 3. If you don't post replacements you will default to the TAB sub(s). If New Plymouth is not run tomorrow the seedings will be determined by the results of today's seven races. So far we have 35 entries so the seeding round will count for something as only the top 32 will proceed to the first knockout round next week. In the knockout rounds the highest remaining seed will play the lowest, second highest vs second lowest, ......... You will be right Zim. I have picked enough 2nds yesterday to ensure the lightweight advantage. Someone needs to explain to Sarah the virtue of keeping a low moisture content of ones artillery propellant for the real battle. The Crucible 632 Report post Posted July 23, 2017 Final Race: 11 on the winner including Dave who finishes with 6 winners and the top seeding. Interesting situation in that race with #4 the TAB sub, but three horses closed as equal second favourite (including the winner), and couldn't split them to decide the second sub. Went with the horse that was the most popular pick in this comp - #8 Hoofaloof. Only impacted Kay and Richie and fortunately didn't impact the top 32 - even if Kay had ther winner he would still have finished in the bottom four. SORRY I COPIED THE WRONG TABLE JUST THEN - CORRECT SCORES TO FOLLOW IN NEW POST (bit like the Oscars)
