Thanks Richie - useful to know. Will go with that, as my original post of the final results was incorrect - copied standings after nine races. That makes #7 the second sub and Richie and Kay get that one as their scratching replacement.

The Crucible 632 Report post Posted July 29, 2017 Jeepers this round is jinxed. Here's what I propose: - haven't seen any news on whether Caulfield races will be run over next few days. If they plan to run the remaining Caulfield races on Sunday or Monday, with the same fields and barrier draws then we will use the three original races - if that's not the case we'll go back to the three Otaki races to be run on Monday at Awapuni. Entrants with a best bet at Caulfield can pick a best bet at Otaki. John will take care of scoring. Will put up a separate thread for people to re-enter if needed. The Crucible 632 Report post Posted July 29, 2017 Knockout Round 1 - Race 7: Not many Shiraz fans - only three on the winner, but that changes things in three of the top 5 matches. PLEASE NOTE THE ABANDONED CAULFIELD RACES WON'T BE RE-RUN FOR SOME TIME. IN PLACE OF THOSE THREE RACES WE WILL ADD BACK IN THE THREE OTAKI RACES WHICH ARE TO BE RUN AT AWAPUNI ON MONDAY. I WILL PUT UP A SEPARATE ENTRY THREAD. IF YOU HAD A BEST BET AT CAULFIELD YOU CAN CHOOSE A BEST BET AT OTAKI (if your best bet was at Rosehill that will stand). FOR THOSE THAT HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED PICKS FOR THE THREE OTAKI RACES YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR SELECTIONS IF YOU CHOOSE - IF YOU DON'T POST I WILL TAKE THE SELECTIONS YOU HAVE ALREADY POSTED.
