final luca 189 Report post Posted July 9, 2017 this was all we did at school leading up to DC day. $ and cents... man I use to have trouble with pounds shillings and pence... where and what were you doing this day (ok I know its tomorrow just getting a head start_) I was really worried about the change over but then, having an Auckland star paper run .. thought it was great when opening first D.C pay packet... felt like heaps better.. $ being about double what we got in the pounds currency. of course we had $2 notes way back then as well as $1 notes. lightened the load and yes I've still got some of those.
