rdytdy 5,335 Report post Posted June 28, 2017 They couldn't organize a piss up in a brewery, the TAB again. They are taking bets on Waverley tomorrow and fixed odds are up on their website but in not one of the races are the apprentice allowances showing. This is not rocket science guys, just basic information that your customers need to know. This is pretty poor stuff.
Patiti 274 Report post Posted June 28, 2017 NZTR has all the allowances listed. The TAB needs to have them listed also. I agree its a bit sloppy but I prefer to do the form on NZTR then check the prices.
rdytdy 5,335 Report post Posted June 28, 2017 The TAB is the shop front and that is where the selling is done Patiti. If the information the TAB is providing is incorrect surely it is a breach in respect of the customer. Does the Consumer Guarantee Act protect a customer in this case? ie You back a horse on what the TAB is showing you and the race is won by another horse with a claiming apprentice up. The full facts have not been provided to the customer. Can the customer then claim a refund in such a case? Would be interesting to know. There are a lot of apprentices riding tomorrow and every race there are a number of claimers.
