Have you walked down it's main street since this event was on - it's called Queen Street just in case you either didn't know or had forgotten. I have never seen so many Beggars sitting on the footpath as there are at the moment. A large number of them have Macdonalds or Starbucks cardboard coffee cups to collect their bounty in. I have never seen Auckland look so uninviting for tourists as it is now. There are a few "guitar players" also with their hats out but at least they are doing something other than just cluttering up the pavement. Some of these low lifes don't even have a sign that says 3 wives and 43 kids to feed - they just expect to sit there and people toss them a dollar for f all.
