Most professional sports spell out an obligation on players, coaches and suchlike to promote the sport through the media. I fully agree Mr Baker amongst others do a fine job in engaging with the media. They do it in part because they don't have a 'head in the sand' belief that the industry will continue to 'survive merely because it has done for well over a hundred years.
