Auckland Track

Recommended Posts

The curators have done a good job to have 1 race thus far but geez the track looks atrocious. Id be surprised if the meeting gets past R3. I thought the new sand the club spent all that money on was meant to stop this mess but looks like it has made the track worse.

EDIT: Why is there a huge hole under the astro turf?

Was told drains under 318 were blocked as I say only what was told

Yes, amongst other issues. Like the small lake oozing under the rail on the back straight, meaning the inside dogs weren't going to get a fair run. Also other large puddles forming in the hone straight and various soft patches. Today was never going to happen, no point looking for blame.

Gutted to say the least that Auckland grc cannot pay compensation to all the trainers & owners that turned out last sunday in the horrifc conditions to race their dogs. the president or the secretary of the club cannot make a decision to pay out compensation, they pass the buck by saying its up to the nzgra !! the nzgra say no ?? then take the bull by the horns and the club pays out a" GESTURE OF GOOD WILL"  to the owners & trainers of say $50 per dog that was to race on the day in lieu of ,STRESS,FUEL,& ROAD TAX.

                                                                    COME ON AUCKLAND GRC .
