gubellini 4,004 Report post Posted August 27, 2016 Belinda I think he will get a lot of extra bookings after today's results at the Bay. Great value sire.
Belinda 143 Report post Posted August 27, 2016 Reckon you're right gubellini. They want a bit of time but worth breeding to him to race yourself.
.... 226 Report post Posted August 30, 2016 Interesting stallion, He did have a very good day on Saturday, but figures wise has served over 200 mares in his first 3 years at stud and has so far only sired 1 Stakeswinner (Farm Boy) and another stakes placegetter (El Pescado), is running at 44% runners to winners. Obviously his stakes performers could improve with Meeska Mooska and Underthemoonlight but you would want it to, progeny do tend to like wet tracks and a bit of time
Nasrullah 180 Report post Posted August 30, 2016 El Hermano is at 1.5% SW to runners. Zed is at 5.9% SW to runners. Keep an eye out for Zed's biggest and best crop which are currently 2 yo. Has 125 living 2 yo foals. They will make an impact as they get older. The blood of Zabeel really works well! fitzy
fitzy 143 Report post Posted August 30, 2016 Very perceptive Nasrullah. Have a 2YO Zed filly which is going along nicely. Yearling brother looks even better. Target for filly is 2017 VRC Oaks. Well at least the dreams are free......

Kind of the way I was looking at, El Hermano had a good day, but there are lots of proven and unproven good options around the $4,000-$6,000 mark, Zed being a standout in terms of being proven in that area
