Hey Steve, and at least you know what Howie's last race pick is going to be at Doomben !

Draw. The draw will match each team against another team every week until all teams have played each other twice in the Round Robin part of the comp. At the conclusion of the Round Robin section the top 4 teams will enter into a Finals Series (using the Page-McIntyre System) culminating in a Grand Final for the Winter Champions Championship. The lower half teams will do likewise for the Presidents Championship.

Tons of time left to play your J2 Hesi

I'm hearin' ya, PJ ! You're on to a winner there. Backing you all the way. Racking my brain and simply can't recall much good ever coming out of Wellington ...yep, best to leave it in Auckland's capable hands. Go the mighty Ellerslie !

But in the unlikely event that something goes awry for the mighty Broncos at the mighty Ellerslie, then  this one will save the day :-

Comp R10 - (Doomben 8)  Horse 1 - 21111 Howard Be Thy Name (10) 57kgs  Brad Rawiller

Stone cold certainty. Just pile it on !  Can't see even the Warriors missing this one. :)

Regardless of where the Reapers finish in this comp, they will be forever remembered for bringing this fabulous humour and colour to a competition.

Or they might be remembered for the jockey (captain) who didn't know how many laps the race was run over.

Scary to imagine what might have been if they knew what was going on :P Sometimes it's better to be lucky ........

Hi to all ..... the grimmest of reapers has just got home from an unpleasant stay in local hospital.

Firstly congrats to those Broncs who kept sweeping the track in aus so us reapers kept slipping into the local watering holes.

Howie and I have been doing these comps for many years now. Hands up all those who haven't had a bad month or three?

Your winners start coming 2nd, then unplaced and you wonder where your next winner is coming from. Graeme earned the #1 spot based on far more good years than bad. I am picking he is only one winner away from again being a thorn in the side of many of us, as per usual!

Yeah well said Geoff. Whenever I came up against the Cats it was the "Tom" I always wanted to avoid.

Alot also depends on how seriously you take things....competitive fun for mine and also many on here.

Luck of the draw can be crucial as well. Personally I have had some tough draws (maybe Graeme has too) but finally get one in my favor tomorrow!

Go the B)SunniesB)

You should be so lucky !

Talking of sunnies.... 5th straight day of hot, dry and windy conditions up here Steve. Would not be surprised if the track was upgraded to a G3 by start of play tomorrow ;)
