GONSTA 1,148 Report post Posted March 3, 2016 Champion cricketer, champion bloke and a fantastic writer. I loved reading his articles on cricinfo. RIP M.Crowe, gone far too early! Staggering the likes of Russell Coutts / McCaw etc get offered a knighthood over this man who really should have been acknowledged far greater than he was. chelseacol, tonkatime, Canelo and 1 other

Mr Spyro 408 Report post Posted March 3, 2016 Makes me wonder again about the injustice of it all and if God does indeed have a plan it's beyond my understanding. Gutting how this happens to champion blokes like him while so many absolute toe rags walk around with apparent immunity. tim vince 985 Report post Posted March 3, 2016 I read his book - would it be wrong to call him a tortured genius?
Ohokaman 5,760 Report post Posted March 3, 2016 He certainly had his demons Vince, but you had to admire how he handled that bloody awful illness with such courage and humility, even while accepting that the fight would be a long one and one that he couldn't win. The sooner some genius comes up with a solution, and they will, the better off mankind will be. biff, chelseacol and Steve Paul
