Gubellini,I'm no breeding  buff!!but Pins imo seems to cover a wide selection of  sires as a broodmare  sire. As a sire he has let a variety of  good winners from different  broodmare sires, which is a sign of his versatility .If in budget  I would go with whatever  is my favourite  sire at the time, depending on with you race or sell the foal.

Thanks Swoopa. Good advice. I have a share in a Darci Brahma gelding out of a Pins mare. A friend of mine has a Maiden Pins mare and we are looking for a suitable sire for her.

Also like the new and first season sires at the sales(taking a chance and getting in before they get popular and the  fee is over budget ;)

Good luck

Berri four yearlings by Ocean Park out of Pins mares were sold at Karaka.

Lot 20 bay filly ex Pretty. Sold to Victoria for $150,000.

Lot 193 bay colt ex Be Fabulous. Sold to Ireland for $110,000.

Lot 313 bay filly ex Haberdashery.Sold to Moody Racing Victoria for $65,000.

The fourth one was passed in at $18,000. Lot 988 a bay filly ex Lashings. She was a lot smaller than most of the Ocean Parks.

Overall not a bad result for the cross.
