Lloyd Vivian 742 Report post Posted February 20, 2017 That was another tough win on the weekend by Splurge; don't know that he relished that track, but he dug deep. Heard he's being aimed at the Darley next. Have to be a show, you'd think. trakdap

Lloyd Vivian 742 Report post Posted April 30, 2017 Splurge now 7 from 11 and looking every inch a budding topliner. That was ridiculously easy yesterday at Te Rapa. I think he may well go a long way to recouping his expenses this winter, in Brisbane. This Bourbon Lass family is quite exceptional at throwing up very good horses! rdytdy

Gruff 2,790 Report post Posted December 4, 2017 The horse raced 14 times for us for two wins and four seconds and then he was sold last March through an Inglis tried sale. I think he has had quite a few starts (11 or 12) for his new owners up on the NSW-Qld border for a win and a few placings.Regards,Matt HarringtonGeneral ManagerDanny O'Brien RacingP: (03) 9372 2466F: (03) 9372 2583M: 0412 159 144Email: matt@dannyobrienracing.com.auP.O. Lloyd Vivian 742 Report post Posted December 23, 2017 Splurge wins his 8th - a G2 - and takes his earnings north of $230,000. Still a way to go on his purchase price, but a fair sort of horse and may yet be G1 winner before the season is over......
