I see Treaty of Paris is racing tomorrow at Tauranga (R6 No 17). This horse has gone out both starts an both times they were expecting it to go close. Gave Opie a headace when doing everything wrong to lose the race last start but I see it has been gelded so a good draw and maybe better manners might do the trick. yes it did, seems to be one paced so 2400mtrs should suit with the pace on. We all done the drop a horse or miss seeing it in a race and it wins. I been backing One More Time, this horse owes me nothing but it sure been getting alot of it back. Today it is in the Railway and needs to start the race before so it can finish with them. I'm sure hoping it don't kick me up the backside and wins as I'm not backing it today for the first time. Love the racing game.

Race 1 Sophisticardo. Gets back which is a little concern as there isn't a lot of pace but I'm sure Opie be a bit more forward and can run over the top of them in 33. R4 Nest Egg. Tripped up by the wet track last start. has a great finish and relaxes in race in a even race. R5 Skew Wiff - had a large place bet on this horse last week at 2.8 and just about won. Today I just watch and taken in multis. If jumps as good last week will be just off the pace and let down and be hard to beat. R6 Magawa Bit rough but like the run before last. R8 Charms Star - Not my choice, but a friend knows a owner who told him it would win last start and it missed the jump as fav and ran a shocker so give it one more chance for my quad. R9 Campionessa. Now I might be off the mark here but opie has got down to 55kg to ride this and we all know when he wastes to ride that weight he usually wins. 8w and 2.8p is worth a few each way. I have considered opening an offshore account as the TAB site drives me mental and is a disgrace to the whole industry. The NZ TAB don't seem to give a shit. I'm sadly a loyalist to the NZ industry and feel if I take my money offshore then the industry misses out and that isn't so good for all that rely on stakes etc. One day maybe they will sort it and we be all happy but this site been a dog for a long time and only seems to be worst.

Maybe it is just me that gets so annoyed with this site as I don't see anyone on here making comments. latley I select my bets and then for some reason the page disapears and asks me to refresh. Once I refresh all my selected bets disapear and I have to start all over again. The other day I took a number of multis and quads and some weren't showing in my pending bets page. I rang help desk an they confirmed bets were on. I like to see how my bets are doing during the day as I take a number of small bets when I view the site refreshes and then goes back to the top of the page and I have to find where I was up to. Other times when I'm putting on a Quaddie for example and I'm putting on my slection for race 1 and go to race 2 it just goes out of the quaddie and as I keep going through the other legs I'm no longer taking a quaddie but single bets. Drives me nuts at times. $50 million doesn't seem to be enough to get a reliable site that works. I missed the interview with the minster of racing on Melbourne cup day. My mate who did see it, said the minster, said the new website was the worst thing to happen to racing.

I finally caught up with the replay from Ellerslie on the 9th Jan and watched Race 5 where La Crique beats The Perfect Pink and see that Opie gets 6 days. Personally, I think its rather concerning that from my view he hits the horse 4 times and not in consecutive strides. C Grylls uses the whip 5 times in consecutive strides and nothing said at all. I guess this is all over the minority group of animal lovers that seem to get a louder voice than anyone and are changing the way racing is conducted. Next target will be the Zoo once they finish with the racing industry and ruin it. The parasites of the woke world continues and everyone bows to their demands well time to give them the i finger salute and fight back. Would of Levante won if not given the whip 7 times seeing the margin was so close. And how is a jockey who is emotionally driven in a tight finish meant to all of a sudden stop and think bloody hell I better stop hitting the horse and lose the race. I know as a punter I'm going to start losing interest in betting in large amounts if my selection loses from not been ridden out. Personally losing the few good jockeys we have left to suspension all the time isn't good for the game, give them a fine and be done with it and stop running like babies because some animal nutters want to stop racing.
