  1. I personally see nothing wrong with the drive, the wider you go at Alexandra Park the worse off you are, if he had popped off Butchers back at the 300m he would not have ended up any better off as you cover so much extra ground and its extremely difficult to make any ground round that bend.
  2. WOW!! Didn't his team grow a leg last night. Democracy in 3.10 half in 57 one hell of a run and I notice all his horses won at workouts this morning, good to see him back in form after a pretty lean patch.
  3. I thought the idea behind having two channels was to be able to show more races, we have a group one race with kiwi horses yet we have to delay to watch a thousand dollar greyhound race on both channels, ends up the kiwi horse wins it, one of biggest racedays of the year, no post race interview no nothing absolute rubbish, take a look at yourself trackside.
  4. Nelson surely has to be considered for the jewels now given the time they ran today. To be fair it was an average field and they have gone super quick given the conditions. Granted Miss Moonlite was an extremely classy horse last year, however has not shown that form for some time. Glad to see her back but like i said, imagine if the top horses had a chance to run around here
  5. Its very easy driving in the grandstand, sure the horse looks the goods and ran home good but its not as simple as going and sitting parked and winning. In fact 99% of horses arnt tough enough or good enough to do that. Maybe the horse needs to be saved for one run, maybe it doesnt I dont know and of course how its driven depends on the horses its races. At Forbury he will probably drive a bit more aggresive as the fields are weaker down there and you can afford to do a bit more work. Its very easy being a grandstand driver, out on the track its a lot different, and sadly not many horses are Smoken Up and can work the hardest and still win.
  6. Barry certainly, but Mark I would beg to differ, when has he produced a top junior driver? and lets be honest when they do get the chance they are driving the best horses. I suggest Zac learnt a lot from his father as well
  7. Rated Bettor Move It extremely well, didnt get attacked once, yet still runs them along only to drop out at the 400m

    Tim Butt

Havnt seen anything on here about the tim butt positive, arsenic is pretty bad!!
  9. has a chance to redeem himself in the last at Forbury tonight!!!
  10. Shocking drive, attack attack attack, three quarters in 30, favourite comes round nothing following it round and he parks it three wide when he could have ended up in the one one then drops out at 400 last by 16 lengths.
  11. Galloped and galloped at the start went reasonably well after that though
  12. The start at Riccarton Race 6 how is it possible for the starter not to know that the rider was not on the horse that is shocking!!

    Tom Wood

He tips a horse then goes on to tell you all the reasons why you shouldn't back it, i pick number x but it has no form to recommend but it could go ok, if you tip it tell us why not why not.
  14. Surprised nothing has been mentioned on here nor in the media regarding this race, considering it means such a lot to a lot of people. Good luck to all participants, must be a real honour to win this race as a junior driver.
  15. Half carting is where you sit your horse on the wheel of the horse in front rather than on the back of the driver, thus in doing this when a horse comes round say 3 wide it is easier to move in front of that horse and you dont have to 'push out' the horse
