  1. I downloaded all four heats as MP4 files just after they raced and agreed exactly with the first three heat times. Heat four was triggered at exactly the same point as the first three heats and on the finish line and three times I got the same exact time of 25.61 and also agreed with the second dog of 25.82. I was aware of the 25.5? showing on Trackside but all I could do was advise on what I actually got. Using a stopwatch to check dog times just isn't reliable enough as you just can't stop the race at the exact start moment and finish moment.
  2. So you do get the exact same time every time you use a stop watch to time a race or how much variance do you get?
  3. So what time do you allow per length?
  4. So you are saying you can use a stopwatch to confidently and accurately time a greyhound race at the speed they are going past the start and finish and get the exact same time every time?
  5. You said you agreed with the first three heat times and got 25.58 for heat 4. So how did you check those times? With a stopwatch?
  6. Excellent. thanks for that. And with no replays available for H2, 3 and 4, how did you time them?
  7. Interesting. At what point did you trigger your timing of each heat?
  8. I was surprised how good the track was for the amount of rain they had. Race 1 last 600m 35.05. Race 2 34.45. I haven't checked those yet but full credit to the track staff. I walked it before the first and was expecting my 'Stick In The Mudometer' to go much deeper.
  9. All closing Last 400m sectionals can be seen here.
  10. The TAB who in turn supply it to Raceform. I'm doing the Saturday Sydney and Melbourne meetings in the interim as well.
  11. That is exactly what I said when told Barry. I thought about it overnight and have offered to do them for free till the end of July but after that, no contract, no reviews. So if you want to know how a horse went last start, you will need to refer to the online replays or have a fantastic memory!
  12. With all race review comments writers getting the chop, readers of Raceform and the PDFs could be slightly unhappy.
  13. Basil, what would you think of the PDF form if they didn't have the review comment in the formlines e.g. Trld to tn, out 200, fght well ? You may need to brush up on your memorization skills to remember what every horse has done in the last few weeks!
  14. When you get sick of watching Netflix and want to see the sectionals and video reviews of all races at Tauranga I've posted it here I wasn't going to finish it after being half way through it when NZ racing was canned but did it anyway.
