  1. Those by Ruling were not the nicest to deal with
  2. Hasr Peter Jenson has been officially named as new CEO at NZMet in the local rags yet??
  3. Go and read the judgement. You clearly have no idea, you think the SFO,DIA and a High Court judge got it wrong and your right. Please don't engage me me any further on this topic, you are obviously an idiot or someone with close ties to the defendants
  4. So fraud is nothing much in your book- each to their own but you arguments and points on this topic just entered the book of stupidity IMHO
  5. Be very interesting to see how long these criminals get in terms of sentence. Hard to say where precedent lies, the Rowley/Skinner IRD fraud case where some 1.3 mio was the figure saw them get between 6-8 years. Dont think any of them will get that long but its all at the whim of a single judge so who knows.
  6. Correct so only fools will fight it.
  7. Most drivers have no issue with counting to 10 or the rule as witnessed by how few have been charged. Animal cruelty, whether by perception or reality is a non starter these days and change was inevitable. Call it front footing a potential issue or whatever the rule is here to stay just as it is in gallops.
  8. Another driver who cant count or wont follow established rules. He joins R May and J Cox on the sidelines, the latter having been found guilty twice in 10 days. UNIQUE MARSHALL - raced wide early stages. Driver M Edmonds admitted a breach of Rule 869(2)(a) in that he used his whip in an excessive manner inside the final 400 metres. After hearing submissions on penalty, the JCA suspended Mr Edmond's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 2 July 2017 (3 days).
  9. Alas Southern Response now looks the likely winner. Shame on NZ Met board if this is true as this will have further negative outcomes for them.
  10. You have got to be taking the piss Jack. Convicted of 5 fraud charges by a high court judge and about to do time and you ask the highlighted question above.
  11. Good point. But they have been successfully using poor health for quite a while now so hard to change tack this far down the track.
  12. He is a lucky man is all i will say given the outcome of this long running investigation and subsequent court proceedings
  13. O'Brien Senior was of interest as well in this investigation but has had charges stopped due to ill health, lucky man methinks
  14. One would hope not given the other 3 guilty parties are currently in Custody. Very dodgy stuff all round IMHO
