No worries probably a tad of an overreaction from myself. I just see no problem with what bgp is trying to achieve and bar the rebate thing which people are well within their rights disagree with don’t see what harm a bunch of people can do that are getting more young people into racing. I’ve got people at work with 0 interest prior into the punters club this year and now they are all bar 1 staying in for the duration of it aswell as having joined the group. These are guys in there 20s that now take an interest in what racing is on. Surely like you have said this has to have future potential

I use Sportsbet most of the time but have noticed that nztab and Sportsbet have identical options (including option names) and almost identical prices now on most things as per this example

So much negativity about anything new on these pages these days. Te Akau Steven Marsh Ellerslie and plenty of other clubs and people clearly do not have a problem with BGP. The only people who seem to have a problem are all you guys who want racing to stay as it was in 1980.

Couple of things Jimbob A- You lost a bet stop been a sooky. I bet this option quite often and have had lucky wins and unlucky losses. This is the risk i take with betting this option. Unless it is made into the same as Australia books where it is only paid out if winner finishes top 4 that’s the way it is. It’s a bet not a guaranteed return. B- This is not the same as the a sports h2h. In this option there is only a win or a loss for each team. In a h2h horse bet the horses can finish last and second which means a win or loss in the bet but no difference in stakes for the horses.
