I wish I had have known about Betfair earlier have been using it for about 2 months now & seems the market is getting larger & larger am shocked the odds offered in the last 2 mins are around 20% more then whats offered on the TAB , sometimes more. at the end of the year , that can be a large difference. I guess most of the experts from this forum also play there ?

hi Dazzer Yes the data NZTR provide is what im after , in a CVS format would be great but I have already copied/scrapped almost 2 years worth , but think may need about 10 years worth of results data , to do good quality testing ? Slice n dice & run all sorts of querries , is what am wanting to do, assume others have done all this , or similar before , but prefer to do it myself & possibly look at a few things that others may not have done ? just trying to get an edge , if that's possible ? Anyway , would love to get some data & willing to trade info or ideas,etc

hi eveyone thx for the advice & help. actually I have checked out a lot of the databases around . southcoast databases looked great but they wanted several thousand dollars to join & that was a little over budget. clipform (trackwork) looked possibily the best around but , my plan is to get a lot of data & do testing on it some of the established databases already provide answers to some of the tests I wanna do , but I also want to do other testing & seems to do this , I need the race results data & at least 10 years worth. seems the only way to do it , is to grab the data race by race or meeting by meeting from the NZRacing website have already got a years worth , its just a long job , anyway I better get back to it .

Am hoping someone can help me please. After catching the racing bug , I now want to do some more betting. Am now thinking I need to make my own racing database. But am having trouble getting data of the race results. am looking for about 10 years data , for all NZ gallop meetings , if this is possible. Does anyone know ,where I can get this type of data for free, or am willing to pay , if its not expensive . Any help is much appreciated .
