Can anyone explain to me why certain races, the re-ratings of horses havent been adjusted on NZTR website?
There was a NZTR rule that all re-ratings had to be confirmed within 48 hours after the race.
Gingernuts stayed on 78 after winning the NZ Derby. Sacred Elixir on 94. If they were to race each other a fortnight ago in NZ in a handicap, there would be 8kg difference?
Ugo Foscolo stayed on 78 after winning the 2000 Guineas. Runner-up Savile Row got 20 points.
Surely, EVERY horse should be re-rated after the race (within 48 hours)!!!!
Ive had a gutsful of these ratings!
How come Rangipo is only rated 90 (after winning the G1 NZ Derby, G2 Avondale Guineas, G2 GN Guineas, G2 Waikato Guineas), our leading 3yo last season. He has to be around 100, and justified that by running 3rd when topweight (carrying penalty) in the SW+P G3 Darley Plate.
