    Dead baiting NSW

Grnz could have made this whole situation a lot easier by front footing the issue when the allegations were made. Surely they could have conducted their own investigation whilst the spca was doing their own. It happens in business all the time, simultaneous investigations. if found guilty the book must be thrown, abhorrent, disgusting practice.

I have to admit it was never going to be easy off wide draws for Lazarus, but that run last night on a 1.52 mile rate was massive when taken into perspective. I just hope come final night its handlebars down by Mark and we see a true stayers run. Sitting back wont cut the mustard.

I agree. It appears that the photos viewed are not all the same. Arguing aside, the rules are still very clear and have been since 2013. Whether you agree with the rule or not, it is and was the rule since that date. It was heavily publicised via website, email, and posted hard copy. You ignore rules at your own peril.

    Dead baiting NSW

I disagree with most on this thread. I see nothing wrong with using a dead animal skin on the end of a lure. This person they have hung out to dry for 16yrs for attaching a dead skin on a lure in Australia is a witch hunt and a travesty of justice, a complete over reaction to animal right activists. Do not get me wrong, I have zero tolerance for live baiting, and this before it became fashionable with the advent of animal right activism. It is abhorrent, and people caught doing these things need to be punished severely, but extrapolating this out to include rabbit skins, and possum skins, and sheep skin, is a nonsense, and a complete over reaction. There f#cken dead. I have seen the photos, and in my opinion mean zilch. They are poor quality, and show some person tying what could be anything on to what appears to be a piece of line. It supposedly shows a piece of material being tied on the line. It could be dead skin, it could be cloth, it could be tanned skin, it could be an old singlet, it could be anything. Without corroborating evidence such as eye witness statements and video evidence then this whole thing is going nowhere. It looks more like a witch hunt to me.

Yes that is true. However if three tosses in a row have come up Heads, the probability of flipping Tails on the next toss is still 50%.

    Can Lazarus do it?

Interesting sometimes you hear trainers, tipsters and scribes alike, say that draws don't matter, for me draws are huge and can't be under estimated in the outcome of a race, wether it be a maiden or a open class race, the second line as good as a 10m handicap.

They did the draw for friday night on live radio this morning with the CEO of the Perth IDs He explained that they keep the three top seeds separated untill the final and then throw the others up in the air (so to speak) to make up the fields. It is unfortunate that Purdons two are in the same race but Gary Hall has the same happen in the first race with both of his together. So there is no conspiracy going on. Three wide draws for Laz so the odds in his favor now for a good one in the final. No one has "friends" when your running for a mill. They are all running for them selves and will be watching each other not just Laz. The pace will be hectic with a lot of the field liking to be in front. Non of these will be capable of running a last half in 54 over 2900 which is probably more like 3400 when you factor in the mobile start and the speed they will leave the gate. To my mind there are only two who can win Lazarus and Chicago Bull. Both are great stayers and will stay out the trip while the others will be gasping from the 600. There is only one way Lenny ,Soho or Tiger can win and that is if they are left in front with no attackers.AND THAT AINT GOIN TO HAPPEN! For those wanting to have a go on Fri the connections of San Carlo have been waiting for draw and are confident of leading all the way. Go LAZ

    joke thread

Ronald joins a very exclusive nudist community. On his first day there he takes off his clothes and starts to walk around. A gorgeous brunette walks by, and he immediately gets an erection. The brunette notices Ronald’s erection, comes over to him and asks, “Did you call for me?” Ronald replies, “No,what do you mean?” She says, “You must be new here. Let me explain. It’s a law here that if you get an erection, it implies you called for me.” Smiling, she leads him to the side of the swimming pool, lies down on a towel, eagerly pulls him to her and happily lets him have his way with her. Ronald continues to explore the community. He enters the sauna and as he sits down, he farts. Within seconds a gigantic, bearded guy lumbers out of the steam room toward him, “Did you call for me?” says the gigantic guy. “No, what do you mean?” says the rookie Ronald. “You must be new,” says the gigantic guy, “it’s a law that if you fart, it implies that you called for me.” The huge man easily spins him around, bends him over a bench and has his way with him. The rookie Ronald staggers back to the community management office, where he is greeted by the smiling, naked hot clerk, “May I help you?” she says. Ronald yells, “Here’s my membership card. You can have the key back and you can keep the 1000 bucks membership fee.” “But, Sir,” she replies, “you’ve only been here for a few hours. You haven’t had the chance to see all our facilities.” Ronald replies, “Listen young lady, I’m 70 years old. I only get an erection once in a month. But I fart 20 times a day.”

    Safety

Should be easy to fix and the same as the UK. A person about 150m up the track with a very big white flag. He's in comms with the starter. He holds his flag up until all is clear. Puts it down when all is clear. Starter pushes the button. If a false start, then flag goes up again so jockeys can see there's a false start. Quite simple process but down here we're not looking at the best of World practise so we look stupid.

    Trump written off

Incorrect bloke, quiet the reverse. With tax reform and a booming economy, which is happening right now, especially since Donald Trump became President, then you can expect the debt to reverse. Obama was responsible for most of the debt, spending more than any President in history. Trump is fixing it. Quiet simple really for those that are not blind.

    Can Lazarus do it?

Listening to Dexter Dunn talk after the Cup, he said the horses' momentum was knocked when TigerTara broke down the back. He drew badly in the Free-For -All, and ran on solidly without ever threatening. His results did not reflect on how he actually went.
