Noel Callow.....Michael Walker

At Flemington on Saturday Noel Callow gets fined $1000 for celebrating his win on Our Smokin Joe by standing up in the saddle with the reins between his teeth and waving to the crowd.Chief Stipe Gleeson said his behaviour would not be tolerated and that he was not a good example to younger riders.

Michael Walker is politely told not to stick his tongue out and he goes on to the media that he will do it again. Not a good example to young riders. It is called' the spoiled brat syndrome'.IF he does it on Saturday when he wins on Darci Brama
he must be severely punished. In case he does I will be wearing dark glasses so I will not be too much affected by any rude and offensive gesture.

I have resisted commenting on this thread for ages, because I think its much ado about nothing.

However Fordman - Saimee Sumat has ridden a couple of winners for me in Singapore. And each time as he crosses the line he turns around and pokes his tongue out at the camera and grins like a chesire cat (he has usually backed it as well).

And if you think about it when did his tongue poking became prevalent... after his return from Singapore.

So if MW chose to poke his tongue out there I think it would get the reaction it deserves - who cares!

Further on the subject of Michael Walker, he was being promoted on the radio this morning as the "Eye Candy" of the week on the Edge radio's website! Or should that be

not respecting his heritage as a circus performer. Everyone knows that for Carnies this is the symbol of respect to his fellow competitors.
Rumpole - do you get offended during the haka too??

Hehe - what Callow did was potentially extremely dangerous - what if his horse had stumbled? - he'd be eating through a straw and talking with a lisp for the rest of his life.

He also does that tongue sticking out thing...it aint pretty

I don't care what they do after a race to celebrate. In fact i love watching the jocks in hong kong coming back to scale. The only one it endangers is the jock himself so let him take the risk if he wants. BUT i don't make the rules and if the people in charge have said no then the jocks should do as they are told or be punished

Don't bother reading them,,very simple rule.I refuse to read about the Stratford Racing club debacle..wearing dark glasses in front of the computer is injurious to your health.

, what is wrong with him poking his toungue out after he has one, I saw what CAllow did and though it was quite funny !

MW is the man jockey and he is the only guy that could attract outside people to this game. With his style, his looks and his attitude is a gift to racing

Go Micky, Your the Man, and thats coming from the man !
